Commuters Report Major Delays Along The F Line
The MTA cautioned riders to expect delays along the F line on Friday afternoon.
SOHO, NY — Frustrated commuters took to Twitter on Friday afternoon to report that their F trains had been crawling between stations and subject to lengthy delays.
The MTA said the F train was subject to delays and service changes on Friday because of signal problems at the Broadway - Lafayette Street station. Some northbound F trains are stopping along the C line between Jay St-MetroTech in Brooklyn and West 4th Street in Manhattan.
In Brooklyn, some northbound F trains are being diverted along the G and E lines, according to the MTA.

Commuters reported waiting for more than 20 minutes in stalled subway cars before being instructed by the conductor to get off the train. One subway rider said he waited nearly 40 minutes to travel one stop, from Broadway-Lafayette Street to the Second Avenue station.
