Get A French Toast Ice Cream Sandwich At This SoHo Cafe
It's part breakfast, part summertime treat.

NEW YORK, NY — Need something to cool down but feeling more adventurous than Mr. Softee? Kay's Boutique Café in SoHo will have you covered this week with an ice cream sandwich made of French toast.
The Mulberry Street spot has partnered with the dessert shop Eggloo to offer the "Thais-cream sandwich" from Thursday to Sunday. Eggloo's Thai tea ice cream is scooped into Kay's bruleed vanilla French toast and topped with salted toasted coconut flakes.
The $9 confection will have some competition this week. The low-calorie ice cream maker Halo Top will be serving soft serve stuffed inside a "cruffin" — a cross between a croissant and a muffin — at the Supermoon Bakery on Rivington Street from Thursday to Sunday, according to Gothamist.
