Play With Thousands of Lego Bricks

Where: American-Scandinavian Foundation, 58 Park Ave.

When: Opens Saturday, April 28

What: Want to let your kid play with thousands of Legos, with none of the cleanup? The American-Scandinavian Foundation has an exhibition this summer to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the classic Lego brick. The exhibit is complete with a free play room with 30,000 loose Legos available for families to play, build and create with. The play space was designed by the artist Sean Kenney, who specializes in building art, objects and complete worlds exclusively out of Lego bricks. The Lego exhibition will stay open from April 28 through Aug. 4.

Tribeca Film Festival

Where: Various locations throughout Manhattan

When: The last day of the festival is Sunday.

What: It's your last chance to go to a viewing at the popular film festival before it closes for the year. Saturday is the premiere of "The Fourth Estate," the highly-anticipated documentary that chronicles New York Times reporters in the age of President Donald Trump. Dozens of other films will be screened throughout the city to finish the festival; you can find a complete schedule here.

Rape Jokes: By Survivors

Where: Caveat, 21a Clinton St., Lower East Side

When: Saturday; doors open at 6:30 p.m., show starts at 7 p.m.

What: Caveat, a relatively new underground bar and performance space on the Lower East Side, is hosting its show “Rape Jokes: By Survivors.” The venue describes the evening as a “night of storytelling, catharsis and laughter” by “comedians who identify as survivors of sexual assault, harassment and, in one case, a lawsuit for speaking out against an alleged rapist.” Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.

And, if you're willing to leave the island of Manhattan, the Sakura Matsuri Cherry Blossom Fest at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden returns this weekend. You can get all the details here.
