Man Injured By Subway Train At Houston Street Station, Police Say

Police did not have details about the man's condition.

SOHO, NY — A man was injured by a train at the Houston Street subway station on Thursday morning, police said.

The man was injured by a southbound 1 train at the station at about 11 a.m. on Thursday, an NYPD spokesman said.

It was not immediately clear how the man came to be on the tracks. The police spokesman did not have information about the man's condition.

The MTA said in a tweet that a customer was injured at Houston Street but did not provide additional details.

All southbound 1 trains are running express between 14th Street and Chambers Street while police investigate.
