Missing Teen Disappears From SoHo Charter School, Police Say
Diamond Lee, 15, disappeared from the Broome Street Academy Charter High School Thursday morning, according to police.

SOHO, NEW YORK — Police are looking for the teenaged girl who disappeared from her SoHo charter school Thursday morning.
Diamond Lee, 15, was last seen inside the Broome Street Academy Charter High School on Sixth Avenue at about 10 a.m., police said.
The teen, who hails from the East Village, is described as standing 4 feet tall with a medium build, brown eyes and long, black braided hair, said police.

Lee was last seen wearing a light gray hoodie, a pink polo shirt and jeans, according to police, who confirmed she does not have any mental or physical health issues.
Broome Street Academy Charter High School, which opened in SoHo in 2012, is a free public charter school that gives preference to students who are homeless, in foster care or from low-performing schools, according to its website.
