SEE: Thief Crawls Into SoHo Apple Store Through Smashed Window
The man stole $75,000 worth of laptops, iPhones and other electronics early Wednesday morning, police said.
SOHO, NY — He must have been desperate for some AirPods. A man lifted thousands of dollars in merchandise from a SoHo Apple Store in a smash-and-grab burglary early Wednesday morning, police say.
The thief busted a window at the 103 Prince St. store and crawled inside around 1 a.m. Wednesday, according to the NYPD and video from the scene.
Once inside he stole $75,000 worth of iPhones, laptops and other electronics before fleeing in an unknown direction, police said. Surveillance footage shows the man unfurling what appears to be a black bag and stuffing it with Apple's signature white boxes.

The thief is about 35 years old with a medium build, police said. He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, a black jacket, dark blue jeans, black gloves, black shoes and a black hat, the NYPD said.
