Smorgasburg Is Leaving Soho After Just 1 Summer
You'll have to go to Brooklyn if you want the full Smorgasburg experience.

SOHO, NY — Manhattan's version of Smorgasburg, Smorg Square, is leaving its Soho space after just one summer there, a company rep confirmed to Patch.
Eater was first to report that Smorg Square, which opened at 76 Varick St. to much excitement, would not return for summer 2018.
Co-founder Eric Demby told Eater that the logistical challenges of setting up the food market seven days a week ended its run in Soho. Demby confirmed the Eater report in an email to Patch. Smorg Square had planned to stay in the space for at least two years.

Smorg Square's exit from Manhattan is an abrupt turnaround from the company's original plans, which included a year round indoor market in addition to the outdoor food market. Smorg Square was the company's first outdoor, festival-style location in Manhattan. The company operates smaller outposts at the South Street Seaport and in the Meatpacking District.
In Brooklyn, the market is open seasonally in Williamsburg and Prospect Park just one day a week.
