SOHO, NY — A high-end Soho gym wants you to get buff in the buff.

Hanson Fitness, the Manhattan gym used by celebrities including Rihanna, is adding naked workout classes to its fitness options, in a gym studio where proper fitness attire is not required.

The gym's Soho location, at 42 Wooster St., will offer the very first naked class on Friday, the gym's founder Harry Hanson said.

Hanson Fitness will offer three nude workout options: one for men, one for women, and one for anyone, Hanson said.

The classes are "designed to be a total body workout that uses your body weight as resistant to work the glute, butt, legs and core – making you look and feel good naked," according to the gym's description of the class.

Working out naked is beneficial because it offers "complete body awareness," Hanson says.

"It's better it is to see what you're doing," he told Patch. "When I'm alone I train in my underwear."

Hanson himself won't be teaching the classes, but he promises that the instructors teaching the classes, both men, "have beautiful bodies" and are "handsome, handsome guys."

You can, the gym notes, wear nude underwear to the class if you prefer not to be fully naked.

The classes will start with about 10 people in each session and the studio will be "very clean and hygiene-focused," Hanson said.

The nude classes will bet the first group fitness classes to be offered at Hanson Fitness.
