Soho Loft From Tom Hanks' Movie 'Big' Sells For $10M

The 5,000-square-foot apartment features 14-foot high ceilings.

SOHO, NY – The Soho loft featured in Tom Hanks's classic movie “Big” has been sold for close to $10 million, according to a listing on realtor.com.

The 5,000-square-foot apartment at 85 Grand Street, which has four bedrooms and three bathrooms, sold for $9,750,000 on Dec. 1.

Curbed reported that the new owner is Casey Patterson, a producer for the TV show “Lip Sync Battle.” Patterson bought the home from Daniel Ammann, the chairman of General Motors, according to the report.

In “Big,” Tom Hanks’ character buys the loft and fills it with classic toys, bunk beds and even a trampoline.

According to a listing on Compass, the loft features 14-foot high ceilings and was designed by Andrew Berman, an award-winning architect.
