An employee who answered the phone at the restaurant Tuesday refused to discuss the recent closure.
“I don’t know where you get this information, but whatever,” he said. “We are selling food for a living, not stories.”
When asked if the restaurant is still taking reservations, he hung up.
Pera Soho opened in December 2012. Its offerings include hummus, moussaka, dolma and other traditional Mediterranean dishes.
Pera Soho is an offshoot of Pera Mediterranean Brasserie in Midtown. That restaurant received an “A” rating from city inspectors in February.
