Thieves Raid Soho Offices, Make Off With 40K In Electronics: NYPD

Two men snuck into a Thompson Street office building and fled with suitcases stuffed with electronics, police said.

SOHO, NY — Two burglars crept into a Soho building and raided several offices of $41,ooo worth of electronics, police said Wednesday.

The thieves snuck into 54 Thompson Street near Broome Street on Aug. 17, toting suitcases into a side entrance at 1:30 a.m., a police spokesman said.

Once they made it inside, the men hit several offices and packed their luggage with laptops, computer monitors, cameras and any other electronics they could get their hands on, the spokesman said.

Police released security camera stills of the two men, who were both dressed in hooded sweatshirts.
