What to eat: Cava specializes in fast-casual Mediterranean food, offering quick and health to-go options from its new outpost on Spring Street. This is the third NYC location for Cava, which is quickly expanding its presence around the country.

What to eat: Seafood. The new restaurant is part of the millennial-focused Moxy hotel in Times Square. The menu includes two seafood towers. The Seventh Avenue Tower, priced at $95, includes seven oysters, six prawns, six clams, an entire lobster, three crab claws and more.

Celestine

Location: 1 John St., Dumbo

What to eat: There’s lots of options on the menu, but one of the main reasons to come here is for the view. The waterfront restaurant has a great vista of the Manhattan skyline. The menu features Eastern Mediterranean dishes including beet cured hamachi and lamb, with lengthy drink menu of artisanal cocktails.

Benyam

Location: 2795 Frederick Douglass Boulevard, Harlem

What to eat: This Ethiopian restaurant opened this summer, but recently snagged a rave review in the New York Times, which awarded it NYT Critic’s Pick status. The review says the family-run restaurant, which serves locally-sourced food, serves great, and cheap, Ethiopian meal that will make for an excellent and affordable dinner.
