Celebs Filming New Projects In Hamptons

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — Hollywood comes to the Hamptons as Amagansett’s own Scarlett Johansson is filming a movie very close to home in Southampton.

According to the New York Post, the actress, along with Demi Moore, Kate McKinnon, Zoe Kravitz and Ty Burrell are starring in the flick, which is filming on location at an all- white house on Peconic Bay in Southampton. The residence is being made to look like a home in Miami for the movie; the paper reports the film is an R-rated comedy called Rock That Body.

Also shooting on the East End was some of the cast of the Hulu series The Path, which stars Hugh Dancy, Michelle Monaghan, and Aaron Paul, which was filming on Main Street in Westhampton Beach recently.

According to Westhampton Beach Village Mayor Maria Moore, the Hulu series The Path filmed for only one day in the area, at a Dune Road residence, and also at John Scott's Surf Shack on Dune Road.

Westhampton Beach Village Police Chief Trevor Gonce, she said, was in communication with both organizations and took steps to ensure public safety during the filming.
