Construction on 'T-Bones Landing' Boardwalk to be Completed
The Village of Southampton will host a dedication ceremony on Memorial Day.
After several long months of construction, the boardwalk known as “T-Bones Landing” in a Southampton Village Park will soon completed.
According to Superintendent of Public Works Gary Goleski, the village will add some benches and lighting around the boardwalk and in a few weeks, the boardwalk will be open to the public.
Construction on the boardwalk, which wraps around the north side of Agawam Park and north of the lake, began in October after the Village finally gave the OK to build it.

Goleski says the name for the boardwalk was inspired by his father and veteran, Tom “T-Bone” Goleski, but that the boardwalk is not dedicated only to him, but to all veterans.
The boardwalk stretches for 300 feet around the park and is 12 feet wide.

The contractor for the boardwalk was Atlantic Coast Dock, a West Islip based company, and cost a total of $167,396 to construct.
On Memorial Day, May 25, the Village will be hosting a dedication ceremony to dedicate the boardwalk to all veterans.
