NOYACK, NY — The search is on for a dog that got lost after its owner fell on a walk.

Minnie went missing Wednesday afternoon from Long Beach Road in Noyack after her owner fell and the dog slipped out of her collar.

Minnie is about 40 pounds, a year old, and very shy, said Barbara Jude Frerichs, who is searching for her.

Teddy Henn, of Missing Angels Long Island, is looking for Minnie.
