First Freeze Of Season Likely On Long Island
A freeze warning and frost advisory have been issued for parts of the island.
You are going to want to grab that winter coat if you are heading out Saturday morning.
A freeze warning is in effect from midnight until 10 a.m. for the East End where the temperature at 8 a.m. will be around an ice cold 30 degrees.
A frost advisory is in effect for the same time period for western Suffolk County. Temperatures as low as 32 degrees will result in frost formation, the National Weather Service says.

It will be warm in Nassau County. No, we're kidding. It will be around 37 degrees at 8 a.m.

Saturday- Areas of frost before 9 a.m. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 54. Light and variable wind becoming southeast around 5 mph in the afternoon.
Saturday Night- Partly cloudy, with a low around 40. Light and variable wind becoming northwest 5 to 9 mph after midnight.
Sunday- Sunny, with a high near 54. West wind 10 to 13 mph.
Sunday Night- Mostly clear, with a low around 35. Northwest wind 6 to 9 mph.
Monday- Sunny, with a high near 54.
Monday Night- Mostly clear, with a low around 44.
Tuesday- Mostly sunny, with a high near 60.
