Free Concerts In The Parks Series Back In Southampton

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A favorite summer event in Southampton is back this year after the pandemic as the 2021 Concerts in the Park series kicks off again.

Presented by the Southampton Cultural Center, the concerts take place on Wednesdays from July 7 through September 1 at 6:30 p.m. at Agawam Park and Coopers Beach along with a special concert at Good Ground Park in Hampton Bays.

"It is with great delight that the Southampton Cultural Center announces the return of the Concerts in the Park Series this summer with a roster to please all ages and tastes in music," a release said.

The concerts are free. The schedule is as follows:

Wednesday, July 7: Agawam Park at 6:30 p.m., Electric Light Orchestra

Wednesday, July 14: Coopers Beach at 6:30 p.m., Southbound Country Band

Wednesday, July 21: Agawam Country Park at 6:30 p.m., John Fogarty Tribute Band

Thursday, July 22: Good Ground Park at 7 p.m., AdLib Steel Orchestra

Wednesday, July 28: Agawam Park at 6:30 p.m., Eagle River Band

Wednesday, August 4: Coopers Beach at 6:30 p.m., The Lone Sharks

Wednesday, August 11: Agawam Park at 6:30 p.m., Penny Lane Beatles Tribute Band

Wednesday, August 18: Agawam Park at 6:30 p.m., Radio Flashback Band

Wednesday, August 25: Agawam Park at 6:30 p.m., Mambo Loco

Wednesday, September 1: Agawam Park at 6:30 p.m., Mean Machine
