Jimmy Buffett Hosts Hillary Clinton Fundraiser Tuesday Night

At the end of a three-day Hamptons fundraising blitz, it's party time at Margaritaville Hamptons-style.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY —From garden parties to intimate luncheons, Hillary Clinton has been meeting and greeting Hamptonites Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. But for many, the blowout bash of Clinton’s fundraising summer just may be the party at Jimmy Buffett’s house in the Hamptons on Tuesday night.

Along with Buffett, as Patch has previously reported, Jon Bon Jovi will also be hosting the event and the two, along with The Coral Reefer Band, will be performing.

Ticket prices for the fundraiser start at $25,000 and go up to $100,000, with the NY Post’s Cindy Adams reporting that $100,00 includes: “fried chicken dinner, ‘premium’ seating, private reception, dancing and the ability to sprinkle in an additional campaign contribution.”

But the night at Jimmy and Jane Buffett’s estate isn’t just about politics, food or music — it’s about fundraising. Clinton's Hamptons fundraising tour is expected to raise millions to benefit the Hillary Victory Fund, an account that raises money for Clinton’s campaign, the Democratic National Committee and for Democratic state parties, according to CNN.

Clinton has raised more than $11 million in campaign contributions from three events held Sunday in the Hamptons, and $6 million of the $11 million was raised at a fundraiser attended by 100 guests held Sunday by New York Giants co-owner Jonathan Tisch, reports CNN.
