​ Joy Behar Buys Sag Harbor Home for $4.7 Million

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — Joy Behar, one of the co-hosts of The View, has snagged herself a new Hamptons view by selling her East Hampton home to move to Sag Harbor.

According to realtor.com, Behar purchased her 4,500-square foot new home for $4.7 million — which is about a million more than she sold her East Hampton home for earlier this summer.

Her new estate has four bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, a renovated kitchen and five fireplaces, according to therealtor.com website, which also states that Behar acquired a pond, a pool, and a separate guest house with the purchase.

The real estate listing, from Town & Country Real Estate of the Hamptons and North Fork website, says the house is situated on 3/4 of an acre. The listing describes the traditional Hamptons-style estate as being situated on “one of the most desired streets in historic Sag Harbor Village,” which places it within walking distance of the shops and restaurants on Main Street and close to Havens Beach.
