SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A man died in a house fire in North Sea on Thursday, police said.
According to Southampton police, a 911 call came in at 1:17 p.m. regarding a fire on Peconic Bay Avenue in the Roses Grove community. The house was engulfed in flames and the man died inside, police said.
The man's identity is being withheld pending notification of relatives, police said.

The North Sea Fire Department, Southampton Fire Department, Sag Harbor Fire Department, Southampton police and Suffolk County Police Department's arson squad responded to the fire.
