Man Robbed, Hit In Head With Handgun In Riverside: Police

RIVERSIDE, NY —A man was robbed and hit in the head with a handgun Monday night in Riverside, police said.

According to Southampton Town Police, the incident took place at 11:04 p.m.; the man went to a residence on Pebble Way, where he was approached by two males, dressed in black and face masks, who stole money from him, police said.

He was transported to Peconic Bay Medical Center for treatment of injuries he sustained during the encounter, police said.
