Police: Laurel Man Arrested for Drunk Driving, Suspended Registration & License

The Southold Town Police have arrested a Laurel man for driving drunk with a suspended registration and a suspended license.

At approximately 2:23 Friday morning, the police saw David D. Orr, 47, neglect to make a signal while turning right from Peconic Bay Blvd. onto Sigsbee Road in the Town of Mattituck. A routine DMV check disclosed Orr’s license had been revoked and that his registration was invalid. While interviewing the driver, the officer detected an odor of alcohol on his breath. Orr was found to be drunk and arrested. He was taken to Southold Police headquarters, processed and held for arraignment.
