Southampton Estate Previously Owned by Woolworth Family Sold For $40 Million
The home was sold for the first time in 55 years.

The Southampton estate which used to be part of the historic Wooldon Manor was recently sold for the first time in over 55 years for a total of $40 million.
The 3.77 acre property on Gin Lane, once owned by the Woolworth family, was sold by William McKnight, who applied to demolish the home with the Town of Southampton, according to the report.
The estate, listed by agent Tim Davis, includes a carriage house and cottage.

The 7,300 square foot home, originally built in 1900, includes 12 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms, according to the listing.
