This year’s tournament opened with Charyse’s coach, Junie Wingfield, sharing with the 33 teams and the spectators his memories of Charyse and the meaning behind the tournament which is one of the longest running high school student fundraisers for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Half-way through the tournament, the 3-point contest took place as participant after participant tried their hand at being the last person standing after shooting single-elimination three-point shots until Olivia Bruyn claimed the prize.
Tournament play resumed as fewer and fewer teams were in the running for the championship.
Jesse Scanlon and Shelby Pierson wound up in third place after losing to Grace Lynch and Sebastian Pereira.
Lynch and Pereira set their sights on Team Pike (Taylor and Garrett Pike) who had been previously undefeated and claimed the overall victory.
At the end of the tournament, $800 was raised to donate to Make-A-Wish.
