Southampton Students Run To Fight Hunger

Funds raised will help fight food insecurity on the East End, district officials say.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — Students gave back in a big way in Southampton recently, running to help eradicate food insecurity on the East End.

Southampton Intermediate School students and faculty raised more than $3,000 to benefit the Heart of the Hamptons on June 25.

The funds were raised through the school’s annual Run Against Hunger fun run, the district said.
