What's Open, What's Closed in East Hampton for the New Year's Holiday

As you’re preparing to ring in the new year, we have put together a list of holiday hours and closings. Happy New Year!

On New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31, 2014:

• East Hampton Town Offices will open for a half day from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
• The East Hampton Library will be open on Wednesday, December 31 until 5 p.m.

On New Year’s Day, Jan. 1, 2015:

• East Hampton Town Offices will be closed all day.
• U.S. Government offices
• Post offices
• Schools will remain on winter break
• Banks
• East Hampton Library will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2015 for New Year’s Day.
• New York state offices
• All New York State Department of Motor Vehicle offices will be closed.
• AAA offices
