The Southampton Town Police have charged an East Quogue woman with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child after she was found to be driving two minors while intoxicated.
On Sunday, June 01, 2014, at about 1:14 am, on Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays, Rocio Londona, 50, was arrested for failing to maintain her lane of travel and speeding according to a statement from Sergeant Howard F. Kalb at the Southampton Town Police.
Londona was subsequently discovered to have been driving while intoxicated with two family members under the age of 16 in the vehicle and was arrested under Leandra's Law DWI, a Felony. She was arrested at the scene, transported to police headquarters for processing, and held for morning arraignment.
