Woman Charged With DWI After Crash: Police

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A Southampton woman was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after a crash Saturday night, police said.

According to Southampton Town Police, the crash took place at 9:35 p.m. on Montauk Highway near Atterbury Road; Rojas was found to be intoxicated, police said.

She was arrested, charged with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated, taken to Southampton Town Police headquarters for processing, and later released on a field appearance ticket to return to court at a later date, police said. No injuries were reported.
