Woman Punched In Face, Robbed In Bridgehampton: Police
She was punched in the face and her purse was stolen, police say.
BRIDGEHAMPTON, NY — A woman was assaulted and her purse was stolen while she was parked in Bridgehampton Saturday morning, police said.
According to Southampton Town Police, at 9:56 a.m., a call came in from a woman who said she was punched in the face by one woman and her bag was stolen by a second, she said.
Margarita Guanga, 50, of East Hampton and Maria Guanga-Cajilima, 39, of Sag Harbor turned themselves in at police headquarters and were arrested and charged with second degree robbery, police said. They were processed and held for morning arraignment, police said.

The woman was transported to Stony Brook Southampton Hospital and released after treatment, police said.
