BREWSTER, NY — If you live in the Brewster school district here's what you need to know.
School District
Board of Education
There are four Board of Education seats up for election, but only three candidates filed the required petitions back in April to run for election to the school board.

- Cynthia (MacGregor) Fox
- Erik Grutzner
One seat will be filled by the candidate with the highest number of votes for a term commencing May 18 and expiring on June 30, 2024; two seats will be filled by the candidates with the second-highest and third-highest number of votes for a term commencing July 1 and expiring June 30, 2021; and one seat will be filled by the candidate with the fourth-highest number of votes for a term commencing May 18 and expiring June 30,2022.

Voters may also cast write-in votes.
School budget
- Proposed for 2021-22: $104,903,457
- Increase over current spending: $693,210
Transportation budget:
- Proposed for 2021-22: $750,000 for bus/vehicle purchases under the district's multi-year replacement plan.
Polling Locations:
- Brewster High School: 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
