Brewster School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School, Vacations

SOUTHEAST-BREWSTER, NY — The first day of school in Brewster is September 5 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Brewster Central School District has released its 2018-2019 calendars for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 9/10 - 9/11: No School (Rosh Hashanah)
• 9/19: No School (Yom Kippur)

• 10/17: No School (Superintendent's Conference Day)

November

• 11/6: No School (Superintendent's Conference Day)
• 11/12: No School (Veterans Day)
• 11/21: Half Day
• 11/22 - 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Break)

December

• 12/24 - 12/31: No School (Winter Break)

January

• 1/1: No School (Winter Break)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

February

• 2/18 - 2/22: No School (Mid-Winter Recess)

March

• 3/6: No School (Superintendent's Conference Day)
• 3/14: Half Day (Grades K-5)/Parent Teacher Conferences
• 3/21: Half Day (Grades K-5)/Parent Teacher Conferences

April

• 4/15 - 4/19: No School (Spring Recess)

May

• 5/27: No School (Memorial Day Weekend)

• 6/26: Last Day of School/Half Day
