Cast of 125 In Seven Star's Annual Showcase

From Seven Star School: On Saturday, January 20, 2018 over 125 performers took the stage at Brewster High School for The Showcase, an annual presentation by Seven Star School of Performing Arts. The dancers and singers, who are a part of the Seven Star School Performance Team, showcased over 200 solo, duet and group routines at the event this year. The Seven Star School Performance Team is comprised of 6 different teams; Collective, Connection, Company, Crew, Kinder and the newest musical theater team, The Center Stage Stars. All of the teams will travel to various competitions in the Northeast from February through April. This year the team will travel to Massachusetts, Long Island, New Jersey and Connecticut, followed up by a national competition in June in Virginia Beach. The showcase is the team’s biggest dress rehearsal as they perform their routines for family, friends, teachers and supporters before heading out on the competition circuit next month. “The Showcase is our Performance team’s major event. After starting the routines last summer, and practicing through the fall, we finally get to see every single routine up on the stage in costume,” says Team Co-Director, Jaclyn Yarusso. Nicole Aravena, owner and co-director of the Team added, "It’s a culmination of all of the hard work that has been put in over the past few months. The studio has been buzzing for weeks leading up to this event and it was a true success for all involved!”
