Don't Miss: Putnam Land Trust Annual Bluebell Festival

The Putnam County Land Trust will host its annual BlueBell Festival on Saturday, May 5th.

SOUTHEAST-BREWSTER, NY - From Putnam County Land Trust: Blue Bells are the blue flowers that carpet the forest floor in spring – taking advantage of the fact that the trees are still leafless and sunlight still reaches the forest floor. Their color reminds us how glorious Spring can be! Come join PCLT in celebrating the beauty of nature at its annual BlueBell Festival on Saturday, May 5th.

From noon to 3:00 pm, Bluebell festivities will include a petting zoo and pony rides from Piped Piper Pony Rides, children’s craft activities prepared by the Chuckie Goodnight Foundation and a walk to see what is taking place in a nearby vernal pool. A spring woodland wildflower guided walk along the Lindera Loop Handicap Trail will also be a part of the festivities.

This event is free and open to the public. For more information, e mail events@pclt.net or call 914-621-8466.
