The tournament is unrated and will take place on October 29th, 2011. There will be 4 rounds. G/30, Swiss-system. The tournament is for chess players in grades K — 8. There are three sections: K-2, 3-5, and 6-8. All candidates must pre-register at www.nationschangers.com by 5 p.m. on Oct. 26. Trophies will be given to 1st and 2nd place contestants. A medal will be given to the third place contestant in each section.
Children from Westchester as well Dutchess counties are also encouraged to participate.

All players must check in from 9:30 am to 9:45 a.m. Round 1, 10:00 a.m.; round 2, 11:15 a.m.; round 3, 12:30 p.m. and round 4, 1:30 p.m. Award ceremony will be at 2:30 p.m.
