Greg Ball to Host MTA Payroll Tax Freedom Day with Open House, BBQ

SENATOR BALL TO HOST MTA PAYROLL TAXFREEDOM DAY WITH OPEN HOUSE AND BBQ!

Brewster, N.Y. – 3/26/12 – Ready for a burger and a hotdog, or two, three or four?!
Senator Greg Ball (R, C – Patterson) is extending an invitation to all of his constituents to joinhim for a free BBQ at his district office on April 1st to celebrating the end of the MTA payrolltax!
“This is a tax that has literally cost hundreds of jobs and destroyed the dreams of dozens ofbusiness owners”, said Senator Ball. “Homeowners throughout this great state have been forcedto tighten the belt and trim the fat in order to make ends meet. I’m looking forward to celebratingthis monumental achievement with my constituents.”
Senator Ball partnered with Governor Cuomo back in December to end this burdensome taxthat was stifling job creation and hurting local businesses. On April 1st, the tax will finally beeliminated completely for 80% of businesses paying it, including 290,000 small businesses and410,000 self-employed people across the MTA region.
This free BBQ will take place on April 1, 2012 at Senator Ball’s district office at 1441 Route 22,Brewster, NY 10509 at 12 pm. Senator Ball’s office will also be hosting an open house that dayfor anyone who has concerns or just wants to stop by to say hello!
