The Brewster Public Library is hosting a parenting workshop entitled, “Positive Discipline: Learn effective and positive strategies for children aged 2-10” on Tuesday September 13, from 10:00-11:30 a.m. Speaker, Mary Ellis Schreiber, M.S., Training Coordinator and Consultant for the Child Care Council of Dutchess and Putnam Inc, will speak about taming tantrums, coping with the word “no!”, sharing and taking turns. Participants are invited to ask individual questions. Grandparents and babysitters are also welcome. The workshop is free, but registration is requested. To register, please sign up at the Brewster Public Library or call 845-279-6321.
