'Spring Check Up' Senior Health Fair

Cortlandt Manor – Spring is here. What better time to get in shape and pay attention to your health?

Hudson Valley Hospital Center and Senator Greg Ball are offering seniors the perfect opportunity to take care of their health with a “Spring Check Up” Senior Health Fair on April 20 at the Muriel Morabito Community Center in Cortlandt Manor.

From 9 a.m. to 12 noon, health professionals will offer cholesterol and blood pressure screenings and exhibitors will be on hand to offer health and consumer information. Refreshments will be served.

“As a community hospital, we are as committed to preventing illnesses as we are to treating them,’’ said John Federspiel, President of Hudson Valley Hospital Center. “The Fair will provide a place for seniors to get free health screenings and information and to speak with doctors and other health practitioners in one location close to home. We are proud to provide this community resource.”
