Gotta Get Away? Putnam To Hold Saturday Passport Clinic
Here's where and when and how to register for a slot.
PUTNAM COUNTY, NY — Feeling more and more like taking a trip? The Putnam County Clerk’s Office will host Putnam County Passport Saturday on May 1.
The event, at the county clerk's office, 40 Gleneida Ave. in Carmel, will provide passport information to U.S. citizens and accept passport applications. Pre-registration is required.
Putnam County Clerk Michael C. Bartolotti said she is holding the event as a convenience to customers who need to obtain a passport.

Only the applicants and necessary parents/guardians will be permitted to enter the office for the appointment. Masks must be worn and temperature checks will occur.

U.S. citizens must present a valid passport book when entering or re-entering the United States by air. U.S. citizens entering the United States from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Bermuda at land borders and sea ports of entry must present a passport book, passport card, or other travel documents approved by the U.S. government.
