Hike with PCLT to celebrate National Trails Day

The June 4 hike will take you to one of the Putnam County Land Trust's newest preserves.

In celebration of National Trails Day June 4th, PCLT is holding a Walk in the Woods with naturalist Jim Nordgren who will take us on a walk on the Dextra Baldwin McGonagle Preserve, one of PCLT's newest and largest preserves.

The event is scheduled for 1:30 pm and the address is 35 Abbeyfield Lane in Patterson.

Jim Nordgren is a consulting naturalist for PCLT and other land trusts in our area. He writes natural resource inventories and management plans for land trusts and landowners. Jim also enjoys leading nature walks and birdhouse building workshops. He learned about nature at the Yale School of Forestry where he earned a Masters degree.
