Hudson Valley: High Winds, Scattered Power Outages Continue
Wind advisories are in effect until 4 p.m. Monday. Here's the latest.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — The wind storm that began whipping through the region Sunday night caused power outages across the Hudson Valley. More may occur before the wind advisories expire at 4 p.m.
In the morning, outages included:
- NYSEG: Dutchess, 273; Putnam, 486; Orange, 2; Sullivan, 464; Ulster, 12; Westchester, 190.
- O&R: Rockland, 213; Orange, 448; Sullivan, 14
- CenHud: Ulster, 623; Dutchess, 27; Putnam, 7
- Con Ed: Westchester, 12
The National Weather Service warned residents that the gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages could result.
