I-684 Lane Closures in Southeast, North Salem

SOUTHEAST, NY — Motorists are advised that left and center lanes on Interstate 684 southbound, between Exit 9 (I-84) and Exit 8 (Hardscrabble Road) are expected to close from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Crews will be performing maintenance activities, weather permitting. Motorists should anticipate delays.

Use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to flaggers and all traffic control devices.

Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
