The fair will run from 1 to 5 p.m. and will feature rides, entertainment, food and a variety of vendors to shop.

From Greater Mahopac-Carmel Chamber of Commerce: Celebrate the return of warmer weather this Saturday, May 6, at the Carmel Spring Fair. The fair, which will run from 1 to 5 p.m. will turn Gleneida Avenue between Fair Street and Vink Drive in Carmel into a giant block party. It will feature rides, entertainment, food and a variety of vendors to shop.

The event is being organized by The Greater Mahopac-Carmel Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Hamlet of Carmel Civic Association, the Carmel-Kent Chamber of Commerce and Cornell Cooperative Extension of Putnam. It is being sponsored by Tompkins Mahopac Bank, Halston Media, the parent company of Mahopac News; and Examiner Media.

“This is the first time that the Mahopac-Carmel Chamber of Commerce has run one of its major events within the commerce district of the hamlet of Carmel and it is such a great opportunity to showcase the businesses in the area,” said Angela Briante, chairwoman of the chamber’s Carmel Spring Fair committee and owner of Briante Realty. “Working with the other organizations that care about the hamlet truly makes this a community event.”
