Lane, Shoulder Closures On I-84

Single lane and shoulder closures are expected on Interstate 84 westbound between Exit 17 (Ludingtonville Road) and Exit 16 (Taconic State Parkway),

The work will be done Wednesday and Thursday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., while crews perform construction activities, weather permitting.

Anticipate delays and seek alternate routes where possible.

Use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to flaggers and all traffic control devices.

Remember fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
