Mahopac Woman Arrested On The NY State Thruway For DWI
Her blood alcohol content was more than three times the legal limit when she was stopped by authorities in New Baltimore.

NEW BALTIMORE, NY —A Mahopac woman was arrested Saturday night for DWI when she was discovered to have a blood alcohol content of more than three times the legal limit, according to the New York State Police.
According to authorities, Maggie R. Deperna, 36, was pulled over by state troopers, who had received a report at 9:15 p.m. of an erratic vehicle traveling northbound on I-87 in New Baltimore.

Deperna was found to be intoxicated, and she was taken into custody and processed at SP Albany. There, Deperna's blood alcohol level was determined to be .27 percent, well above the legal limit of 0.08 percent.
Deperna was turned over to a sober third party and released. She is due back in court on June 15 in New Baltimore.
