Hedy McCloskey, of Carmel, died on Sunday at Putnam Hospital Center. She was 71 years old.
Hedy was born in 1949 daughter of William and Elsie McCloskey. She was a registered nurse and the director of nursing supervisor at Putnam Hospital Center.

She enjoyed music/reading and the simplicities of life. Hedy was a kind and compassionate person who strove to help and mentor others.
Hedy is survived by her daughter Moriah and her siblings; Kevin, Maureen (Mark), Katherine (Patrick), Patricia (Wayne) and Bill John (Liz) and many nieces/nephews, and extended family.

A memorial service will be private due to COVID-19 capacity restrictions. Friends and family may view a live stream of the service on December 5, 2020 at 11 am by copying and pasting this link to the Facebook page of Trinity Lutheran Church in Brewster.
