Obituary: Mary K. Newman

Mary K. Newman, of Brewster, NY died on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Putnam Ridge. She was 75 years old.

Born on October 18, 1945 in New Rochelle, NY, she is the daughter of the late Edmund and Mary Ann (Jones) Hume.

On May 7, 1966 she married Henri Newman in White Plains, NY. Together they moved to Brewster in 1975.

Mary was the Supervisor of Collections at General Electric in Danbury, CT for over thirty years, before retiring in 2008.

Mary is survived by her husband, Henri and her daughter, Tracy O’Connell of New Milford, CT.

A private cremation was held and followed by a memorial service, including a prayer service, on Saturday November 28, 2020 at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, NY.
