Obituary: Rosemary T. Corsetti, Former Carmel Resident

Ms. Corsetti was a house manager with ARC of Mid-Hudson for more than 25 years.

Rosemary T. Corsetti, of Brookfield, CT, formerly of Carmel, NY, died at Putnam Hospital Center after a valiant battle with breast cancer on April 22, 2020. She was 64 years old.

Born on January 31, 1956 in Bronx, NY, daughter of Rosina (Cupaiolo) Russo of New Rochelle, NY and the late George Russo. She graduated from Aquinas High School in Bronx, NY in 1974.

Rosemary was a house manager with ARC of Mid-Hudson at the Oak Road Home in Mahopac, NY. She worked with them for over 25 years, never officially retiring and always hoping to return to work. She absolutely loved lighthouses, especially the ones in Portland, ME. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life.

Rosemary met her partner in life Diane Martin over 22 years ago. She and Diane enjoyed many laughs, triumphs, and hard times together, but no matter what came their way they had each other.

Rosemary is not only survived by her mother Rosina and her partner Diane but also by her loving children; Marc (Sandy) Corsetti of Franklin Square, Long Island, NY, Marianne Corsetti of Patterson, NY, Georgina Corsetti of Brookfield, CT, her step children; Brian Martin of Danbury, CT and Kimberly (Ryan) Hallquest of Boca Raton, FL, her grandchildren; Jason, Kayla, Giovanni, Maximus, Mila, Rose, Brian, Hunter and Rylie, her sister Ann (Michael) Occhicone of Bronx, NY, her niece Adriana (Mikey) Balzano and their children; Gavin & Scarlett, niece Vanessa (David) Anaya and their children; Lucas & Gabriella and her nephew Alex Levine and his son Austin. She was predeceased by her sister Julie Levine in 2017.

A memorial wake will be held at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, NY on Saturday October 24, 2020 from 2pm-6pm. A service will be held during the visitation around 5:30pm. A private cremation was held earlier.
