Ocean State Job Lot Opens In Putnam County

MAHOPAC, NY — Ocean State Job Lot has opened a store on Route 6 in Putnam County.

The store, in the spot vacated by K-Mart, now anchors the south end of the Lake Plaza Shopping Center on Route 6, which began getting a makeover in 2016.

The closeout retailer, which started in 1977, has 139 stores across the Northeast, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, including five in the Hudson Valley. The other four are in Fishkill, Nanuet, New City and Poughkeepsie.

For the new coronavirus pandemic, the stores host special shopping hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays for those at higher risk, including customers ages 60+. Click here for more guidelines.
