Pavement Repairs Will Close Lanes On Northbound I-684 Tuesday

SOUTHEAST, NY — Pavement repairs on northbound I-684 will cause double lane closures in Southeast and North Salem on Tuesday, New York transportation officials warn.

The work will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., weather permitting, between Exit 8 (Hardscrabble Road) and Exit 9 (Interstate 84).

Move Over a lane, if safely possible, or slow down significantly whenever encountering roadside vehicles displaying red, white, blue, amber or green lights, including maintenance and construction vehicles in work zones.

Slow down and drive responsibly in work zones.

Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
