PCSB Bank Leads the Way for Putnam Heart Walk
-PCSB Team raises nearly $54,000 for American Heart Association-

PCSB Bank employees once again showed their unwavering support during the 2019 Putnam Heart Walk on April 28—raising nearly $54,000 for the American Heart Association (AHA). During the past 16 years, PCSB Bank has raised an impressive grand total of more than $693,000 for the AHA’s battle against heart disease.
The PCSB Bank team retained its title as Top Walking Team in Putnam County, with 432 employees, families and friends participating in this year’s walkathon, which embarked from Brewster High School. The event raised funds for the AHA’s critical research and awareness programs that help fight heart disease, the leading cause of death in the United States.
“Our participation in this event each year provides an inspiring opportunity for PCSB Bank employees, along with friends and families, to rally around a cause that means a great deal to us—as so many in our community are impacted by heart disease,” said Joseph D. Roberto, chairman, president and CEO of PCSB Bank. “I am very proud of our bank’s outstanding team spirit and enthusiastic support for this crucial cause. We truly look forward to this event each year.”
